Ambr. L 116 sup., f. 113r

F. 113r contains the continuation of the scholia à recueil on Book 8 (see f. 112v). In keeping with the layout strategy employed throughout the codex, each scholion is marked by a corresponding marginal numeral and introduced by an oversized initial in ekthesis, rendered in vivid polychromy. In the inner margin, one can observe lettres dattente — small guiding letters traced for the rubricator (in this case, likely the scribe himself) — indicating the initial to be inserted in the space left blank at the beginning of each scholion.
