Marco Ercoles is Associate Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, where he teaches Greek Literature and Greek Metrics and Music. He deals with archaic and classical Greek melic, Greek metrics and music, ancient exegesis and scholiography. He is a member of the Italian team of «L’Année Philologique» and of the editorial board of «Eikasmós» and «Greek and Roman Musical Studies».
