Biography

Marco Comunetti is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Genoa (Italy), where he earned his PhD with a dissertation titled Omero ed Euripide a confronto nell’erudizione antica (2023). His primary research interests focus on ancient Greek scholarship and scholiography, particularly regarding Homer and Euripides (e. g., Le citazioni di Eschilo negli scolii a Euripide, in RFIC 148, 1, 2020, 91-113; Gli scholl. Il. XXIV 45 ed Eur. Hipp. 386: la comparazione letteraria come strumento critico ed esegetico nell’erudizione antica, in Eikasmós 33, 2022, 273-289). He collaborated to the Lexicon of Greek Grammarians of Antiquity (LGGA) (eds. F. Montanari, F. Montana, L. Pagani, Brill Leiden), writing entries on several grammarians.
