This tool provides a collection of technical terminology of the ancient exegesis of Greek literature, with translations, mention of passages, contextual explanations, and relevant bibliography. It is ideally intended both as an internal aid for the research within the project and as a consolidated output of the results achieved therein. For the time being, it includes the technical terminology that occurs within the texts that are the object of the Repertoire of Hypertext Transcriptions, but it is open to future expansions.
Also the technical lexicon of cognate fields, such as rhetoric and grammar, has been included, so that a wide picture is offered to the user.
In this phase of the project the Lexicon consists in a static list arranged in alphabetical order, but a development is forthcoming that will make it searchable and equipped with internal links to other lemmas of the Lexicon, relevant parts of the Repertoire of Hypertext Transcriptions, and items of the Bibliography.
