Valentina Garulli is Full Professor of Greek Language and Literature at Bologna University and teaches courses of Greek Language and Greek Grammar for both undergraduates and graduates students. Her main research interests include Greek and Latin poetry on stone, Greek and Latin epigram, the new and the old Posidippus, Hellenistic poetry. Other research themes are Callimachus, ancient biography, history of classical scholarship, didactics of ancient Greek. She is elected member of the Associazione Italiana di Cultura Classica (AICC), Editor in Chief of the «Centro Italiano dell’Année Philologique» and member of the editorial board of the journal «Eikasmós. Quaderni bolognesi di filologia classica».
